Tāda, ka Scala pašlaik ir labākā JVM statiski tipētā valoda un daudzi JAVAisti jaunos projektos izvēlas Scalu un arī šādus tādus vecus, kuriem vajadzīgas Scalas fīčas (asinhronītāte, responsivitāte), migrē uz Scalu. Piemēram, viena no lielākajām IT kompānijām Latvijā "Evolution Gaming" arī migrē no Javas uz Scalu: https://www.evolutiongaming.com/jobs/scala-developer Ja nemaldos LV startups Reachly izmanto Scalu.
