Ja lietotājs nepadod to vērtību caur kaut kādu cepumu, vai citu pieprasījuma mainīgo(POST, GET), kā gan serveris zinās, kas tad veic to pieprasījumu... Padomā, es ielogojos windowsā. Pa kādu ceļu varētu nonākt mana login informācija līdz serverim? P.S. Varbūt vērts pagūglēt par LDAP... In case of CGI/FastCGI you would hot be able to access PHP_AUTH* info because CGI protocol does not declare such variables (that is why their names start from PHP) and server would not pass them to the interpreter :( ziņošu par turmpāko.
