Ļoti interesanta likās viena no jaunajām iespējām. - Improved Session extension: . Added support for storing upload progress feedback in session data. (Arnaud) Izmēģinājis vēl neesmu, bet cerams ka būs thread safe šoreiz, nevis kā apc izmantošanas iespēja. Tā ka ja ir kādam interese var papētīt. Pilns jaunievedumu saraksts šeit.
