This position is for a remote developer, you'll have to take care of your office space yourself. Its preferred that you live in Vilnius, Riga or Minsk. We're looking for a stellar frontend developer for a large social network with a very complicated infrastructure. We need a capable, detail oriented, diligent, pixel perfect coding, responsible dude (or dudette) to join our team that's spread through US, Europe and Asia. Since our social network is quite large, its preferred that you have experience working in ongoing development of a sizable project vs. PSD slicing, still most important is the quality of the code and how well you perform in a team. You Should Have: - macbook or macbook pro (a hackintosh could work, but not preferred) - fluent in English (at least in writing) - 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies (html, css, javascript) - again, frontend experience - you must be a ninja (!!!) frontend should be your primary area of expertise - ability to write elegant javascript using jQuery framework - some php experience, at least one year - ability to bust out visual improvements without a PSD based on text requirements - you should have at least heard of the following things: subversion, bug tracking system, basecamp Nice to have: - experience with linux and/or VMs, sandboxes - good sense of design and usability - several years of experience with backend technologies - paypal account We're looking to start you out with 15-25hrs per week. Smieklīga prasība par to macbook :D We have a complicated infrastructure, all developers have to run sandboxes as a virtual machine, which are designed to run on macs, that's why its one of the requirements.
