Back-test programmer

I am an independent day-trader on the international foreign exchange (ForEx, FX) market*

who is looking for

A programmer to back-test** several potential trading systems

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Familiariziation with the concept of back-testing (I will help as much as possible)

- Selecting the most appropriate software for back-testing from the offered options

- Searching for historical currency price data to be imported in the software (if needed)

- Writing a code for a trading system (will need to test several) in the back-testing software

- Obtaining result of its historical profitability (and other parameters)

Specific Requirements

- Experience in / knowledge of programming (Pascal, C++, php)

- Good English (reading)

- Preferably some knowledge/interest in global financial markets

Benefits

- Project fee 400-500 LVL/month net

- An opportunity to learn about trading on the foreign exchange market

- In case of a successful cooperation, participation in future projects with a much better profit potential

Additional Details

- Type of work - initially a single ~1 month project

- Work time & place - flexible (you can work either from your home or from office; any time of the day)

- Start date - as soon as possible
